The ten remaining celebrity competitors opened their hearts and paid tribute to the most memorable year of their lives with a mix of contemporary routines, Viennese waltzes and more ballroom styles – but it was a delicate waltz performed in tribute to late head judge Len Goodman. Produced the most tears on the dance floor.

First up, Mira Sorvino, the cult classic star Romy and Michele meet in high school, danced a contemporary routine to Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” which fans will remember as Sorvino’s “Rummy Song,” and Michelle Lisa Kudrow and Sandy Alan Cumming danced to it at their reunion. But instead of Kudrow, Sorvino — whose most memorable year was the year she started her family — danced alongside her daughter Mattia, a contemporary dancer.

She and her partner Artem Chigvintsev began their performance atop a metal bar structure and impressed the judges with their acrobatic skills. “What you just did is what people will remember about this season,” Carrie Ann Inaba told Charity before giving her top 10 from the season. Later in the episode, Princess Marvel star Xochitl Gomez also received 10 points for her Quinceañera-themed Viennese Waltz.
