Taylor Swift pays tribute to Ryan Gosling Saturday Night Live monologue where Emily Blunt joins him to sing a cover of “All Too Well”.
Gosling hosted a late-night sketch show on NBC on Saturday, April 13, and attempted to break up with Kane, his character from Barbie. To express his feelings, he covered Swift's song “All Too Well,” recalling his experiences playing the character in the Greta Gerwig-directed film.
“Everything's Fine (Ryan and Emily's Version)!!!” Swift posted on Instagram, sharing Gosling and Blunt's performance from SNL. “Accidentally watch me catch myself singing this version on your device. This monologue is everything.

“All Too Well” is a song Swift co-wrote with Liz Rose for her fourth album, redreleased in 2012. Swift re-recorded the song and included it on a release Red (Taylor version) in 2021. The singer also included a “10-minute version” of the song, which was accompanied by a short film directed by Swift and starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien.
In Gosling and Blunt's version of SNLthe actors try to break away from their movie characters Barbie And Oppenheimer.
“But I can't seem to let Ken go because we're back in 2023, it was the summer of Barbenheimer, it was just you and me, drunk on beer, and no body hair. Now it's time to say goodbye to Ken,” she said. Lyrics sung by Gosling and Blunt.
The duo participated in the tournament ScapegoatSwift's singing of the song is a reference to their new movie, and Gosling's character relieves stress with the artist's music.
