Microsoft has now announced its May Games collection with a Gold tier. Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to download Yoku’s Island Express, The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, and Viva Piñata: Party Animals next month.
As with previous months, you’ll have two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games to be asked to download.
May 2022 Games with Gold
If you haven’t spotted it already, there’s a quick and easy completion on offer with May Games with Gold. The Inner World – The Last Monk takes only about four hours, according to estimates. However, its list is full of missing achievements, so we recommend checking out The Inner World – The Last Monk Walkthrough (written by Killersquirrels) for more on these. You can also grab the excellent Yoku’s Island Express pinball platformer adventure, which will have you trying to awaken an ancient island god trapped in eternal slumber. Yoku’s Island Express was, once upon a time, an Xbox Game Pass title, so if you didn’t finish it before it left the service, you can now go back and show off any achievements you might need. For those starting fresh, you will need to set aside 15 hours of your time. On the 360 front, there’s the Hydro Thunder Hurricane racer, which has an estimated completion rate of 30 hours for 250 Gamerscore, and Viva Piñata: Party Animals, a party game that will take between 12 and 15 hours to complete, although you may need a few tools Additional controls to make things easier on yourself.
You still have plenty of time to grab some April Gold, so be sure to claim them while you can!
