In theory, the Galaxy Ring should offer health and fitness tracking functionality through Samsung Health, similar to the Galaxy Watch, except it will be more compact and not as feature-rich as a wrist wearable. It probably won’t have a display, for starters.

But what might be a huge boon for the Galaxy Ring is that it can become a replacement for the Galaxy Watch for people who want to track fitness and health without giving up their classic watch.
