Singer KK dies of cardiac arrest, says initial autopsy report

KK is best known for songs like Pal and Yaaron, which were huge hits in the late ’90s.

The news agency PTI reported that Bollywood singer KK died of cardiac arrest, referring to the preliminary findings of the autopsy report. Police also said there was no “evil act” behind the singer’s death.

The officer told PTI, “The initial report indicates that the singer died of myocardial infarction. There was no malicious act behind his death. The clinical examination also revealed that the singer had long-standing heart problems.”

The final autopsy report will be available 72 hours later.

KK was known for songs like “Pal” and “Yaron”, which were a hit among teens in the late ’90s, and were often heard during school, college, and teen farewells.
