Rodeo Bull ‘Party Bus’ Escapes Sisters Rodeo Show In Oregon, Injuring 3

An out-of-control rodeo bull broke out of an Oregon arena and charged through a crowd of spectators Saturday — violently tossing and stamping on a woman in its path.

The bull, named Party Bus, flipped the woman over so she landed squarely on its head before the frenzied animal spun her around a second time from its horns. She then broke a table and ran into the parking lot, landing at the bull’s feet.

But the rodeo bull’s desperate bid for freedom is short-lived, and the party bus is taken over by rodeo pick-up men holding cattle pens. Sisters Rodeo Association said.

“Three people were injured as a direct result of the bull, two of whom were taken to a local hospital,” the association said in a statement. They were all released the next day.

A deputy suffered minor injuries while responding to the wildfire, but it was not said whether it was caused by the party bus, Police told KTVZ.

The event took place just before 10pm at the 84th Sisters Rodeo, a popular event that draws the nation’s top cowboys and thousands of spectators.

A second video shows an unsuspecting crowd singing along to Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.”

It was then that the bull spontaneously climbed over the 7-foot fence and sent the herd on its way.

After this incident the party bus was removed from the venue.

“We obviously can’t replicate that scene,” Leslie Lange, who supplies livestock — including the party bus — to the rodeo, told KTVZ.

“But we’re going to get him home, get him back, do some drills with him and try to get him back in that situation.”

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association said Saturday’s incident was a reminder that “while rodeo is a highly entertaining sport, on very rare occasions, it can also pose some danger.”

“The PRCA sends our thoughts and best wishes to those injured or otherwise affected by this frightening and extremely rare incident,” the association said.
