Days before Spin Master/Paramount/Nickelodeon PAW Patrol: The Great Movie The film opens with a first-place shot and $20 million, and a third theatrical film has been announced for 2026.
The long-running preschool franchise, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, saw its first theatrical release under the Paramount umbrella (and Elevation Pictures in Canada) open during the pandemic, day and date with Paramount+, with a $13.1 million first weekend, the final Domestic for $40.1 million and worldwide for $144.3 million.
Veteran animation director Cal Brunker (PAW Patrol: The Great Movie; PAW Patrol: The Movie; Nut Function 2: Nutty in nature) will return to lead the third film. Jennifer Dodge, president of Spin Master Entertainment, along with Laura Clooney, senior vice president of current series development and feature films at Spin Master, and Tony Stevens, senior vice president of entertainment production and operations at Spin Master, will produce the film. Spin Master co-founder Ronen Harari will executive produce.

In conjunction with the second film’s theatrical release this weekend, Spin Master founders Ronen Harari, Anton Rabi and Ben Faraday will be inducted into the Toy Industry Hall of Fame at the Toy Foundation’s TOTY Awards.
