We’re late for the new music from Yeah Yeahs. The group hasn’t released an LP since then mosquito Back in 2013. But that’s soon about to change: Today, Yeah Yeah Yeahs announced that he’s signed with Secretly Canadian, and new music will be released this fall. To celebrate their comeback, the band is also performing their first shows in the US since 2019.
These performances will be in New York and Los Angeles. The New York City Show will take place October 1 with the opening of The Linda Lindas (there will also be another opening announcement), and the LA Show will take place October 6, with the perfect opening lineup for Japanese Breakfast and The Linda Lindas.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 6 at 10 a.m. local time. There’s also a pre-sale for American Express Cardmembers happening on Tuesday, May 3 at the same time.
Yes, Yeahs previously announced a European and British tour for the summer. News of the name change and new music also comes two years after Karen O said Australian radio station Double J said it felt “ready to make some music”.
