Judgment Day would challenge The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Titles

The bloodline invaded again Monday Night Raw This week in Alabama, stalking Kevin Owens and generally making life worse for Adam Pierce. The latter’s response to another interference was to book a Tag Team Turmoil match for the five-team main event, with the winners promising to shoot the Usos and the WWE Tag Team Titles at a later date.

Here’s how to play the match, which is basically a tag team Gauntlet match:

  • In the opener, Finns Bálor and Damien Priest scored wins over Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows when Bálor stunned Anderson with a roll after Gallows ran away with a hot card.
  • Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin were coming out next, and they came out hot but were ultimately no match at Judgment Day, with Balor pinning Alexander.
  • Alpha Academy was next, and they looked poised to win until Otis failed and shook his partner. Priest used the tip to secure it. Afterwards, Bálor’s ribs were thrown into disarray and Pierce forced them to choose between relinquishing or replacing Dominic Mysterio. So they chose to submit to Doom.
  • This brought out the final group, The Street Profits, who were to pick Bones. Except they didn’t pick any bones. They couldn’t get the job done despite the fact that Priest spent over 50 minutes in the ring and Dom was recently released from prison! Of course, Rhea Ripley helped The Judgment Day cheat to win, putting Dom’s feet on the ropes, but that’s the benefit of being on a set like this.

The Usos immediately hit the scene to get a stare, and so it fizzled out.
