Jack Dorsey’s Block Dorsey Makes $1.5 Billion in Q2 Profit, BTC Revenue Drops

Digital payments company Block Inc. saw former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey increase its year-over-year profit 29% to $1.47 billion in the second quarter, despite the decline in bitcoin activity due to lower customer demand and a decline in the value of bitcoin (BTC) the prices.

Investors seem unimpressed by Block Inc.’s performance. In the second quarter, company SQ’s stock is down 7.42% in after-hours trading to stay at $83 at the time of writing.
