Cleveland Browns Make Denzel Ward NFL Highest-Paid Player With Five-Year Extension Worth $100.5 Million

The Cleveland Browns sign the Pro Bowl Cornerback Denzel Ward CAA Sports’ Tori Dandy, who negotiated the contract, told ESPN’s Adam Shifter a five-year, $100.5 million contract extension that includes a guaranteed $71.25 million.

Ward gets a second contract from Brown, but Mayfield and the franchise are headed for a split after Cleveland traded a quarterback.
