Foxconn Winfast NF4SK8AA-8EKRS Motherboard Review - SuperStep Software

SuperStep is what you would expect from a motherboard monitoring tool. You can see the tabs on the bottom of the program to jump between monitoring different parts of the board. The first tab is the fan monitor and controller. I have the CPU and northbridge fans connected, and I can set their minimum speeds if I want to.

The voltage tab gives nice readings of the different levels of power to the board. You can set upper and lower values, as you can see.

The temperature tab just displays the temps at the motherboard monitors for CPU temp and system temp. This offers a place to set upper thresholds too. This is a nice thing to set to keep your processor from going outside of recommended operating temps, or even lowering it to be extra careful.

The clock tab shows the current clock speeds of the processor, PCI, and PCIe. You can increase the CPU frequency on the fly here, but the BIOS has many more options for overclocking and this isn’t really a replacement for that.

The final tab, alarms, is simply a list of the things that the motherboard can monitor and alert you about. Check off the ones you want alarms for, tell the program how frequently it should run the checkups, and you’re set.
