    HTC Ozone

Verizon subscribers who are in the market for a new messaging smartphone with a decent feature set should be glad to know that the wireless company has added the HTC Ozone to its lineup. Today we'll be taking a close look at what this affordable cell phone has to offer. Could it be the right phone for you?

The HTC Ozone is quite similar to the previously-released HTC Snap from Sprint. The Ozone comes with ample features for those who travel or are always on the go, including Wi-Fi, overseas GSM support, EV-Do Rev. A, and GPS capability. The Ozone's design, while not flawless, is serviceable and is especially aimed toward users that tend to text and email frequently.

Perhaps one of the most tempting characteristics of the Ozone is its bargain price, which is only $50 for Verizon subscribers after a mail-in rebate and service contract.

As previously stated in the introduction, the HTC Ozone from Verizon comes loaded with a nice amount of features when you consider its price. It's definitely not on the level of an iPhone or Palm Pre, but it will suffice for most regular phone users.

Some of the common voice features on the Ozone are voice commands and dialing, a speakerphone, conference calling, voice recorder, and speed dial. The Ozone is Bluetooth capable and supports hands free kits, both mono and stereo headsets, and file transfer, just to name a few. Accessories that come standard with the Ozone from Verizon are a wired headset adapter, USB cable, as well as a wall charger that can adapt to not only domestic but also international plug outlets for those who like to travel.
