Acer Aspire 5043 WLMI Series Laptop - Conclusion

In conclusion, this is a good budget laptop for an intermediate user that will accommodate a small measure of user evolution. For anyone who does serious digital photo editing this laptop will provide a worthwhile mobile device for work on the go. For the occasional gamer this laptop will provide a measure of decent ability but don't expect phenomenal results with games like Oblivion V: Elder Scrolls or Doom 3.

    Pros:

    • Light weight
    • Significant hard disk drive capacity (100 GB)
    • Plenty of RAM
    • Versatile video adaptor
    • Bright and clear display
    • Windows Vista compatible

    Cons:

    • No CDs shipped with system
    • Integrated battery pack
    • Hard drive capacity not conductive for extended mobile usage
    • Poor cooling
    • Pre-loaded FAT32 file system over NTFS
