Vantec is considered among PC enthusiasts to be one of the leaders if not the leader in innovative hardware accessories for modern PC's. As the modding community has improvised new ways to spice up system cases and rev up hardware performance, Vantec has applied their technical expertise to produce professional quality products to meet the varied needs of the public. Vantec's primary goal has always been to understand and satisfy the consumers' needs. They do this by being super responsive to consumer feedback and incorporating improvements dynamically in their rapidly expanding product line. Vantec's current product line includes power supplies, CPU and chipset coolers, removable HDD racks, and a variety of stylish and functional case fans. Before reviewing this product, I had never given much thought to the noise level that my PC's produced. I knew that my gaming PC was a lot louder than my little email/VPN PC but I got used to it. The installation of the Nexus Multi-fan controller opened my eyes and ears and brought a big smile to my wife's face. Today I will be quality, ease of use and the functionality of this product. We previously reviewed this controller back in January, but as I stated, Vantec improves their products through consumer feedback. Please feel free to read our first review of the nxp-201 and compare it's findings to this one. This fan controller screams "quality" from the rounded edges of the aluminum shell to the solidly soldered connections on the blue colored PCB. PACKAGING
The packaging of the fan controller is terrific. There is no possible way for the parts to bang around or get damaged short of the actual package being smashed. All the small parts are contained in plastic bags and the actual fan controller is cradled in a stiff plastic tray.
