Princess Poppy is inspired by many iconic figures in pop culture.

She told EW that her look showed references to Jabba the Hutt from “Star Wars” and Roz from “Monsters, Inc.” And a witch from the 1985 Tom Cruise movie “Legend.”

“I primarily wanted to be a slasher hag. I wanted to be so shocking that you would just have to turn around and look at me,” she explained.
