Ryan Gosling’s performance as Ken in “Barbie” has captured the internet’s attention again, this time with the release of rehearsal footage of him preparing for his musical rendition of “I’m Just Ken”.
Put out atlantic records screenshots Monday as part of the song’s official music video.
In the video, Gosling can be seen wearing sweatpants and a T-shirt as he rehearses his choreography, both on set and in the dance studio. The video also offers a behind-the-scenes look at a chaotic beach fight scene between all of the Kane family in the movie.
The footage features Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Kingsley Ben-Adir and more as Kens, at one point providing back-up vocals for the song in the recording studio.
In another moment, director Greta Gerwig can be seen cracking up behind the camera, and in another, she appears to put her hands over her mouth in shock.
Fans have taken to X, formerly called Twitter, to express their excitement over the footage and Gosling’s observant, impulsive performance.

After the film premiered, Gosling began garnering Oscar fanfare for his role as Kane.
