Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $4,000 per appearance; $4,500 available for 4-5 bouts; $6,000 available for 6-10 bouts; 11-15 matches earn $11,000; 16-20 bots pocket $16,000; and $21,000 for 21 bots and over. Additionally, champions earn $42,000, while title challengers get $32,000.
In addition to experience-based pay, UFC fighters receive permanent royalty payments of 20-30 percent of UFC merchandise sold, officials say.
