Tim Ferrick, Gavin’s choreographer, has died at the age of 34

Tim Ferrick, bassist for the experimental rock band Dance Gavin Dance, died on Wednesday.

The California band announced the death of the 34-year-old on Thursday Share on social media.

“We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our friend and bassist, Tim Ferrick, last night,” the band said in a statement.

“We ask that you respect our privacy and that of Tim’s family as we deal with this shocking and sudden loss.”

The cause of Frick’s death was not disclosed.

The guitarist first joined the Sacramento-based group in 2009 and has played on six albums, I mentioned Billboard.

Fans praised Frick and shared their pain over the music Instagram page.

“I will be forever sad about your death because you brought so much joy to my life with music. Rest in peace beautiful soul,” someone wrote.

Dance Gavin Dance was scheduled to leave on a 19-date national tour later this month, according to their website.

The band, which combines elements of a fusion of punk, scream and jazz, has sold over a million albums and has streamed over a billion times on Spotify.
