The Pokemon Scarlett and Violet Patch arrive as Nintendo promises to take technical problems seriously

The first post-launch Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have arrived along with a promise from Nintendo to take the games’ technical problems seriously.

Patch notes were released in Nintendo website For version 1.1.0 of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet say broken music during Elite Four and Top Champion battles is now fixed, along with a vague confirmation that “other selective bug fixes have been made”. The patch, available now, also kicks Season 1’s Ranked Battles.

Nintendo also committed to improving the performance of the first open-world Pokémon games and apologized for various issues found in the launch versions.

“We understand that players may experience issues affecting game performance,” Nintendo said. “Our goal has always been to give players a positive experience with our games, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We take player feedback seriously and work to improve the games.”

It doesn’t say when these updates will arrive, but this first patch was released less than two weeks after the game launched and exactly three weeks after it was released as the “Day 1 Patch” for those with early copies. If Nintendo sticks to a similar trend, it might be mid to late December before we see another update for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Issues found so far include a broken PvE experience at the end of the game, a rigged Battle Stadium, duplication glitches, a strange way to run at double speed, and more.

Poor performance was also a major factor in our 6/10 review, as IGN said: “The open-world gameplay of Pokemon Scarlett and Violet is a great direction for the future of the franchise, but this promising shift has been sabotaged by many. The ways in which Scarlet and Violet feel incomplete Extremely “.
