It’s Black Friday sales season, and there are currently plenty of Nintendo Switch deals to provide plenty of gifts for any gamer on your list. While bundle deals are fairly common, it’s rare to see a full discount on the Nintendo Switch, and that’s doubly true for the plush Nintendo Switch OLED.
For now, you can cut it Swap the OLED for just $299 at Walmart. That’s a whopping $50 off the regular retail price. This is now the lowest price we’ve ever seen for a Nintendo Switch OLED.
You will need to act quickly though. That’s because this update to the original Switch system is a highly desirable upgrade that takes everything that was great about its predecessor and kicks it up a notch.

As you may have already guessed based on the name, the biggest upgrade is the gorgeous OLED display. The best Nintendo Switch games truly look amazing on this brightest, most vibrant display. Furthermore, the 7-inch OLED screen is slightly larger than the 6.2-inch screen you’ll find on the standard Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite. Games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey look great on the Switch OLED, with the larger screen displaying crisp images with vibrant colors and deep blacks.
In our Nintendo Switch OLED review, we noted that it “has a great screen, an improved kickstand, and plenty of storage space.” But while we called it “an easy recommendation for first-time Switch buyers,” it’s a little trickier for existing Switch owners at $50 more than the standard model and $150 more than the Switch Lite.
