Ty Pennington took to Instagram Friday to share what he was admitted to the ICU just days after attending Barbie Premiere in Los Angeles.

“From the red carpet to the ICU… this past week has been fun! But fortunately, Pennington said he is expected to be fine. He noted that after the surgery on Wednesday, he was finally released from the intensive care unit the next day.
“Thank you so much to all the wonderful staff at St. Anthony in Lakewood, CO & Summit Health in Frisco for taking such great care of me,” he added in his post. “A great reminder to listen to your body when it’s telling you something.”
Bennington was among the many other stars to hit the pink carpet alongside Barbie The cast of the film, including Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Issa Rae, Simo Liu, Michael Cera and Kate McKinnon. The film, directed by Greta Gerwig, hits theaters on July 21.
He was also there to promote HGTV’s upcoming four-part series Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge, which is also competing for. Ashley Graham hosts the series, which premieres July 16.
