Henry Cavill is the subject of heated debate on Twitter.
On Superman’s Day, June 12, YouTube’s Matt Garbo suggested that the actor is too old to continue playing Clark Kent.
Hasn’t worn a suit in 5 years and WBD will want someone younger for less
Sorry if this bothers you https://t.co/jZva9yNMF6

“For #SuperDay I want to remind people of that #Henry Cavill He’s definitely getting older than playing the role.”
“He hasn’t worn a suit in 5 years and WBD (Warner Brothers) will want someone younger at a lower cost.”
The tweet had some very strong backlash, with many people defending the 39-year-old Cavill.
70-year-old Keaton can play Batman, 41-year-old Levi can play Shazam, 43-year-old Jason Momoa can play Aquaman and 50-year-old The Rock can play Black Adam but Henry Cavill’s 39 years old is too old to play Superman. What kind of logic is this? 👺 https://t.co/AGWHC63Mz7 pic.twitter.com/7higP3wPV6

Robert Downey Jr. was 43 years old when he was cast as Iron Man. I wonder about that chief.

We may disagree with you. Cavill still has a very young look and is a crest shape. How old was RDJ when he became Iron Man? What about Michael Keaton currently playing Batman?

Matthew 39 for an old man. He could still be Superman for 10 years or so if they wanted to.
Dude grows up nicely.
why would he do #Superman He must be in his twenties.
If he is 55-60 I understand.

The last time Cavill wore the red cape for “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” was in 2021.
