Superman fans debate whether Henry Cavill is too old for the role in Superman Day

Henry Cavill is the subject of heated debate on Twitter.

On Superman’s Day, June 12, YouTube’s Matt Garbo suggested that the actor is too old to continue playing Clark Kent.

“For #SuperDay I want to remind people of that #Henry Cavill He’s definitely getting older than playing the role.”

“He hasn’t worn a suit in 5 years and WBD (Warner Brothers) will want someone younger at a lower cost.”

The tweet had some very strong backlash, with many people defending the 39-year-old Cavill.
