Apple's Magic Keyboard uses strong magnets to keep your iPad supported. The tablet appears to be levitating when viewed from the front, and the weight of its sturdy base adds enough balance to keep it from tipping over. It has a roomy trackpad, backlit scissor keys with 1mm of travel and a very satisfying feel, and pass-through charging to free up the iPad's only USB-C port for accessories. This is a great option if you keep one of your existing iPads that is compatible with it, but there's always a chance that upcoming Apple models will feature a new design that makes them incompatible.
