There’s a lot going on in WWE, and fans have seen a lot of mockery of CM Punk in recent memory. However, it looks like Second City Savior is getting closer to WWE at this point.
While WWE rejected CM Punk’s offers after he sent emotes following his exit from AEW, it appears they may have changed their tune. It looks like Punk has a call scheduled that could change everything.
BWE posted behind their X account to reveal that CM Punk had meetings scheduled with a few WWE board members last week. At this point, the feeling behind the scenes is that his return will happen.
“CM Punk was recently scheduled to have a call with a few board members. The feeling behind the scenes is what happens. Doesn’t mean it’s done. I’m waiting for a follow up call. It should be the last step before things get worse.“
CM Punk could be on his way to WWE if all goes well. This is also a very interesting situation at this point. Obviously we’ll be monitoring this story closely here at Ringside News.
Only time will tell if CM Punk ends up in WWE, but it’s clear that hope for his return to the company is not dead yet. Stranger things have happened before as WWE is open for business.
