Rory McIlroy was elected Winning his 21st PGA Tour RBC wins Canadian Open on Sunday.
McIlroy ended the victory with 62 runs under 8, beating Justin Thomas and Tony Finaw. This is the second time he has won this match. He won it in 2019 and the competition was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to corona virus infection.

McIlroy’s victory came in bold Controversy over PGA Tour players playing LIV golf. As one of the faces of the PGA tour, McLroy’s success released a major statement and cast a shadow over LIV golf commissioner Greg Norman.
Norman told The Washington Post that McIlroy was “brainwashed” by the PGA Tour. McIlroy responded with a win at St. George’s, surpassing Norman on the list of PGA Tour wins of all time.
“This is the day I will remember for a long time. Twenty-one PGA Tours won, one more than the other,” he said after the win.

McIlroy finished the weekend with a draw under 19.
