INDIANAPOLIS — Milwaukee Bucks guard Pat Beverley indicated Thursday that video showing him throwing the ball at a spectator was inaccurate, but later said “I should have been better.”
Cameras showed Beverley sitting on the bench 2½ minutes into Milwaukee’s 120-98 Game 6 loss at Indiana, throwing the ball into the stands and hitting a fan. After a different fan threw the ball back to Beverley, the Bucks guard threw it back to the spectator.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Beverley declined to answer the question. But he is X replied to the post “It’s not fair. All night was exchanged between a fan and our ball club. We’ve been warning and asking for help all night. It’s not fair,” the video showed.
Six hours later, Beverly published Another X post “But I must be fine. I will.”
During his postgame media session, Beverley wasn’t allowed to ask an ESPN producer a question after discovering he wasn’t subscribed to his podcast. He asked her to take the microphone away from her face and then asked her to leave the interview circle.
