Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti Gaming OC is for sale in Serbia at an exorbitant price
It appears that some retailers are not waiting for NVIDIA to announce the new cards.
This Redditor spots the new RTX 4070 Ti graphics card that’s already on sale. The card is now available with the price and model name clearly displayed to customers. This happens more than a week before NVIDIA officially lifts the sales ban.
The card on the shelf is Gigabyte’s Gaming OC model. This model has not yet been seen in any leak before, and the packaging does not reveal the design either. Needless to say, by placing the card on the shelf, the retailer spoiled the gigabyte surprise.
Judging from the price on the box, this card retails for JOD 154,999, which converts to something around $1,400 USD. This is of course a ridiculous price for this model and the retailer is clearly benefiting from selling the card early.
The Redditor shares the latest image from a store in Costa Rica, which also confirms that RTX 4070 Ti cards are already in stock, but at least in this case the ban sale will be respected. This is also the first known confirmation of the MSI Gaming X Trio model. Both cards are scheduled to be officially released on January 5th.
Many thanks to Sebastian Castellanos for the tip!
