Exclusive details

She may have had “4 minutes” to save the world, but it took her three hours to prepare for a concert.

Madonna upset her loyal fans on Wednesday night by kicking off her festive tour hours later than scheduled.

The “Material Girl” singer, who launched her American shows at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, did not take to the stage until 11 p.m.

With no time to twiddle their thumbs, fans took to social media to complain about Madonna’s late start.

“I don’t give a f-k if you’re Madonna,” one follower tweeted. “If you’re 3 hours late, you’re very rude.”

“The party’s supposed to start at 8:30. Madonna started at 11 p.m. The whole arena is cheering bulls on her tardiness. “Great show but it came so late,” another noted, adding that DJ Honey Dijon opened the show with “boring house music “.

“I’m late at 2:30. I want my money back now,” another student.

“I love Madonna but the fact that she was 2 hours late for her US debut show is surprising,” another tweeted.

A source close to Madge told Page Six on Thursday morning that there were some technical issues during the sound check that caused her to be only one hour late, as Honey Dijon was scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m.

Madonna’s representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

“You’re just rude,” one fan tweeted. BM Photo/

The “Vogue” singer, 65, began touring Europe earlier this year after a harrowing health struggle that left her in the intensive care unit.

Her team said her hospitalization was due to a bacterial infection, but Madonna herself later said she was simply grateful to be alive while celebrating her birthday in August.

She also credited her children with making a “huge difference” in her recovery.
