(CNN) Kevin Costner’s lawyer denies that the actor made things difficult on the set of his hit show, Paramount. “Yellowstone”.

“The idea that Kevin was willing to work only one week on the second half of Season 5 of Yellowstone is an absolute lie,” Singer told Buck. “It is absurd – and anyone who suggests it should not be believed for a second.”

Deadline reported that Sheridan, the show’s creator and showrunner, is working with Paramount to close the series in its current format and launch a franchise that would complement the Dutton family’s story and potentially star Matthew McConaughey.
According to the new story published by Puck, “For the fifth season — initially planned to be 10 episodes, but expanded to 16 episodes that were to be shot in two strips, 5A and 5B — Costner negotiated short shooting windows.” The change would likely complicate production on the series, due to its reliance on off-scale exterior shots.
“As anyone who knows anything about Kevin is well aware,” Singer told Buck, “he’s incredibly passionate about the show and has always gone above and beyond to ensure it’s a success.”
“As previously mentioned, Kevin has been a key component to the success of our Yellowstone series, and we hope that will continue to be the case going forward,” a Paramount spokesperson said.
