Jon Bon Jovi agrees to propose to his 20-year-old son, Jake Bongiovi, to 19-year-old Millie Bobby Brown.
“I don’t know if age matters,” said the rock star. On SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” Tuesday when asked if he was “worrying” for the young couple.
“If you find the right partner and grow together, I think that would be my advice, really, growing together is wise.”
Bon Jovi, 61, has been married to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, since 1989.
Apart from Bongiovi, they share three other children: Stephanie, 29, Jesse, 28, and Romeo, 19.
He also told Bon Jovi host Andy Cohen that three of his four children are currently engaged and praised his future relatives.

“I think all of my kids have found the ones they think they can grow together and we love them all,” added the “Livin’ On a Prayer” singer.
In April, Brown announced on Instagram that she was engaged to Bongiovi.
“I’ve loved you three seasons now, honey, I want them all,” the “Stranger Things” star captioned a black and white photo of the beachfront proposal.
The aspiring actor popped the question with a round diamond ring, estimated to cost anywhere from $75,000 to $150,000, according to experts.
While the couple appeared smitten on social media, some fans were stunned by the fact that the couple decided to take a big step in their relationship at their age.
What? wrote a commenter in the comments section of Brown’s post, referring to the name of the actress’ character on her hit Netflix show.
Another asked, “Isn’t she only 19?”
A third commented: “Oh my God, so small.”
However, others – like Bon Jovi – have come to the “Enola Holmes” star’s defense.
“She’s technically an adult and can make her own decisions,” one fan commented, “I got engaged at 19, married at 19, and now that it’s almost 10 years later that we’re still together, am I going to be okay?” With my kids married at 19? Probably not but still congratulations to them!”
Another agreed, “I’d hate for company to keep assuming she’s a teen of about 20 who’s got engaged!!! Be happy she has some pre 19-year-olds and doesn’t even know who the father is…let this girl be happy.” “
Brown and Bongiovi have not dealt with the criticism themselves.
