Jade Cargill and Brian Pillman Jr. make their official WWE NXT debut

Two former AEW wrestlers – Jade Cargill and Brian Pillman Jr. – appeared. – For the first time officially on WWE NXT during this week’s episode. This appearance occurred while “NXT” and “AEW Dynamite” were going head-to-head in a ratings war on Tuesday night due to “Dynamite” temporarily changing evenings to accommodate the Major League Baseball playoffs.

During “NXT”, Pillman Jr. appeared in a video, where he talked about not really remembering his late father – former WWE and WCW star Brian Pillman. He also revealed that from now on, he will use the last name “King”, because “I’m not younger than anyone.” Pillman Jr. joined WWE’s developmental brand in August and has yet to make his in-ring debut.

Meanwhile, in a behind-the-scenes clip, Cargill exited a white SUV and was greeted by Senior Vice President of Creative Talent Development, Shawn Michaels. WWE fans got a glimpse of Cargill last Saturday during the Fastlane pre-show, when WWE COO Paul “Triple H” Levesque was seen greeting her. Cargill signed with the promotion on September 26.
