Google is redesigning Bookmarks on Chrome for Android [Gallery]

Google Chrome is rolling out a new look for bookmarks on Android, with large image previews of the links you’ve saved.

In Chrome 120 on Android, the Bookmarks page has been completely redesigned with larger folder and link previews. The new UI displays blue folders for your primary bookmarks folder (mobile bookmarks, bookmarks bar, etc.), and image previews if available.

Previously, Chrome only displayed favicons for bookmarks.

The new look won’t display a large number of bookmarks on screen at once, but it makes checking everything significantly easier. I save a lot of recipes to my bookmarks, for example, and it’s easier to see what I’m trying to find with this new UI.

This change appears to be rolling out fairly widely, but it only seems to apply to Android so far. Chrome for iOS doesn’t yet show image previews on bookmarks. If you don’t see the new UI yet, check Play Store for updates.

It also comes just a few weeks after the last major UI update Chrome for Android got, which brought Material You design elements to the New Tab page.
