First Look at Fire Nation Team Photos – Deadline

We’re getting our first look at the Fire Nation characters avatar: The Last Airbender, Netflix’s live-action reimagining of the award-winning Nickelodeon animated series. The streamer released several photos on Tuesday (see above and below) of Fire Nation characters that include Daniel Dae Kim as “Fire Lord Ozai,” Paul Sun Hyung Lee as “General Iroh,” Ken Leung as “Commander Zhao,” and Elizabeth “Yu.” As “Princess Azula”, in addition to a new image of Dallas Liu as “Prince Zuko”.

Written by Albert Kim. The series follows Aang (Gordon Cormier), a young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements (water, earth, fire, and air) to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation.

Official summary: Water. Land. fire. air. The four nations once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, Lord of the Four Elements, keeping peace between them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and exterminated the Air Nomads, the first step the Firebenders took towards world conquest. With the current incarnation of the Avatar yet to appear, the world has lost hope.

But like a light in the darkness, hope emerges when Aang (Cormier), a young Air Nomad – the last of his kind – awakens to take his rightful place as the next Avatar. Along with his new friends Sokka (Ian Owsley) and Katara (Kyawentio), his siblings and members of the Southern Water Tribe, Aang embarks on an action-packed fantasy mission to save the world and fight against the fearsome onslaught of Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim). But with Crown Prince Zuko (Leo) determined to capture them, the task will not be easy. They will need the help of the many allies and colorful characters they meet along the way.
