A former Meta intern took to LinkedIn and claimed her offer at Tesla was canceled just 72 hours before she joined Elon Musk’s company. She said she got the offer after “three grueling months of applying and interviewing for new positions,” after she was laid off by her previous employer. She allegedly turned down another offer to join Tesla.
“This afternoon, my offer at Tesla was canceled 72 hours before I was supposed to start due to a company reorganization,” she wrote. “Frustrated and saddened I don’t even begin to describe how I feel, and I know I share the same sentiments with everyone else who has had the unfortunate experience of enduring layoffs and/or supply cancellations, especially from Tesla over the past two weeks,” she added.
