Dak Prescott: The TD record was great, but it’s no longer needed

The Cowboys won the Eagles on Saturday night, thanks in large part to Quarterback’s efforts Doug Prescott.

Prescott threw five touchdowns in a 51-26 victory that allowed him to finish the season with 37 touchdown passes. It broke Tony Romo’s record for a season and came at the end of the year, which caused a lot of discussion about the Prescott fall, but it did not take long to taste the record after the quarterback game.

The playoffs begin next weekend and Prescott has already pointed his thoughts in that direction.

“Statistics and all, way Was good, ”Prescott said via the team’s website. “What we want to do is build momentum, get a rhythm – but it’s nothing important anymore. You’re taking part in this tournament, it’s a game at a time. Must win. So focus… You have to turn the page. Can’t hang on or win 12 wins or divisions because none of that matters.

Prescott’s record will be in the books, but there is no doubt that the Cowboys will disappear throughout the season if they do not progress beyond the wild card round.
