LAGO than the American people,” he said. Griswold, president of the Democratic Secretaries Association, told the Guardian.

  • “For us, we are trying to save democracy,” he said.
  • “The country will lose its right to vote within three months,” he added, warning that Trump-backed candidates could use their positions to subvert the election results or raise doubts about elections that their party will lose.
  • “We must reject the notion that protecting voting rights is partisan. It’s not,” Griswold said. “It’s the most American and democratic thing you can do.”
