College basketball scores, schedule, NCAA top 25 rankings, games today: UNC, Gonzaga in action

It’s been more than seven months since Kansas defeated North Carolina to capture the national championship in New Orleans. Now, at long last, a new college basketball season is upon us. The 2022-23 campaign will see the 25 top-ranked teams in action day and night across the country from Monday.

No. 5 Baylor pointed things out earlier in the day by crushing Mississippi Valley State 117-53 behind contributions from 10 players. No. as heavy favorites for home games at 6:30 p.m. 4 Kentucky, no. 16 Villanova and the no. 22 The action is happening as much as every tip as Michigan.

Games continue throughout the night, with Sacramento State capping off No. 8 offered by UCLA. While there are no obvious marquee matchups, the night will give us our first look at most of the national rivals.

This being college basketball — a game that thrives on upsets — it wouldn’t be a shock to see two shocking outcomes as teams try to shake off their grudges early.
