Christie Brinkley shares photos of skin cancer treatment procedures and promotes 'sun protection'

The always glamorous Christie Brinkley posted a not-so-glamorous photo on social media — one that showed her recovering from a procedure to remove skin cancer near her left eye.

“The good news for me is that we caught basal cell carcinoma early,” she wrote on Instagram (see post below). “And I had amazing doctors who removed the cancer and sewed me up to perfection like Dior couture. The good news for you is that all of this can be avoided by being diligent with your sunscreen!”
