Call of Duty Black Ops 6 suffered a major leak just hours before details of the shooter were set to take place at Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase and subsequent Call of Duty Direct event.
The leak comes from Microsoft’s Xbox StoreAt the time of publishing this article, a full description of the game was available. The Xbox Game Show begins at 10 a.m. PT today, June 9, and the Call of Duty Direct will follow immediately after.
Highlights here are the release date (October 25, 2024), campaign details, confirmation of 16 new multiplayer maps at launch, and two brand new maps at launch for the return of Round-Based Zombies. There is an open beta version as well.
Elsewhere, the Black Ops 6 Steam store page has posted the first screenshots of the game, giving us a look at the campaign, multiplayer and zombies. Check out the photos in the slideshow below:
