Rapper, real name Marielle Simonti Orr, was killed early Sunday morning in a home break-in in an apartment in Conyers, an eastern Atlanta suburb.

Police named the suspect as Jamichel Jones, an Atlanta resident, wanted for murder, home assault and aggravated assault, after Orr was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Jones and Orr are not known to each other, but that Jones was involved in a “household situation” with a woman Orr was visiting in the apartment.

As Trouble, Orr released his debut music tape in 2011, the first in a series of nine mixed versions punctuated by guest appearances with artists such as Lupe Fiasco and Young Thug. In 2018, acclaimed producer Mike Will Made It signed Orr to his label and produced his entire debut album Edgewood, featuring artists including Drake, The Weeknd, Quavo, Offset and Fetty Wap.

Drake posted a souvenir photo of Orr on his Instagram account, while Def Jam Records described Orr as a “true voice of his city and an inspiration to the community he proudly represents.” Gucci Mane, Juicy J, and T.I. were among other rappers who paid tribute to Orr.
