The 38-year-old Vanderpump Rules personality – who dealt with a cheating scandal nearly a year ago – took to the stage wearing a blonde wig and red lipstick.

He wowed the audience who came out for his opening performance at the Ambassador Theater in New York City.

Madix was supported by VPR costars Lala Kent and Sheena Shay, and her mom Tanya Madix, who sat with her boyfriend Daniel Wai. People.

Madix's blonde locks were tucked under a blonde wig that was inches shorter than her natural hair.

It was styled straight, centered in a part, and cut right on her chin and jawline.

She looked amazing as she slipped into a sheer, black, fitted crew neck top in a black shorts romper ensemble.

The Dancing with the Stars finalist also wore black pantyhose and completed the outfit with metallic silver shoes.

It was announced in early December that Bombshell would appear in Gander & Epp's Tony-winning show.

He will be seen in production for eight weeks, ending on March 24.

'It's the biggest dream come true,' Ariana said of the opportunity during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark ahead of her debut.

'I can't believe this is real life. I will cry,' she added at the time.

Ariana told PEOPLE during a press conference earlier this month: 'To say this is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream would be an understatement.'

She explained, 'It's literally everything to me. That's all I ever wanted. To be here now, to have this full-circle moment… I feel so grateful.'

The star is no stranger to musical theater, having studied at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.

He then moved to New York City to pursue his dream, picking up bars along the way.

Madix eventually relocated to Los Angeles, where she landed a spot on the Bravo reality series Vanderpump Rules, a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spin-off.

Touching on the series of events that brought her to her role as Roxy, Ariana said: 'I know exactly what brought me here, but I don't want people to think about it when they leave the theatre.'

While Maddix was winning people over on Broadway, executive producer Alex Baskin opened it Los Angeles Times On how 'Scandal' affected the actors' salary negotiations.

'It's more difficult than ever because normally, we have a payment card, a tenure card, which we have used in previous seasons. There are all kinds of questions across the board,' Baskin said.
