Unless you’ve been living under a rock, it’s no secret that Greta Gerwig directed Barbie Movie is all anyone can talk about these days. The long-awaited film, starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Simo Liu, Essa Ray, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, and Will Ferrell, among many others, is set to turn the world a shade of pink after its July 21 release.

And like many other celebs (we’re thinking of you, Zendaya!), Robbie’s star is taking the movie’s subject matter to heart during his international press tour. From pink looks to outfits that are almost exact replicas of famous outfits from the doll’s past, Ruby and her designer Andrew Mukamal aren’t afraid to go all out for the theme.

Robbie was recently photographed at the airport in a pink tweed Chanel jacket that gave Barbie vibes without being too much for the airport. We’re also obsessed with her pink luggage. The original Barbie

On Instagram, fashion designer Ruby Mukmal explained that her latest look was inspired by the original 1959 Barbie doll. Wearing some questionable makeup, the doll wore a black and white striped swimsuit with white sunglasses and black heels. So, of course, Robbie perfectly mimicked the look in this black and white Herve Leger mini dress with white sunglasses, black heels, and a high ponytail.
