If City and Arsenal win their quarter-finals, they will both meet in the Premier League semi-finals.
Atletico Madrid are paired against Borussia Dortmund, while Paris Saint-Germain play Barcelona in Friday's quarter-finals in Nyon, Switzerland. The winners of those ties will compete in the other semi-finals.
Arsenal advanced to the quarter-finals earlier this week after beating Porto in a penalty shootout and drawing 1-1 on aggregate.

Their opponents, Bayern, similarly lost their last-16 first leg against Lazio 1-0, but progressed to the quarter-finals with a 3-0 win in Munich.
City, meanwhile, had a comfortable win over Danish side FC Copenhagen, winning 3-1.
Real Madrid were given a tough test by RB Leipzig but qualified for the quarter-finals after a 1-1 draw in Spain and a 1-0 win in Germany.

The quarter-finals of this year's tournament will be played in the midweek of April 9-10, with the second legs a week later on April 16-17.
