Former “Beverly Hills 90210” star He opened up about the fight on InstagramSaying that a motorcyclist “aggressively approached” him while he was stuck in traffic.

“In an attempt to assess any damage I got out of my car,” he wrote. “Unfortunately, this behavior developed into a physical altercation, which I resorted to to protect myself.”

Police said the group of bikers were driving recklessly and apparently hit Ziering's car. Ziering said his daughter was in the car at the time.

“I am happy to report that I and my daughter are completely safe, but the incident has left me extremely concerned about the increasing audacity of such groups disrupting public safety and peace,” he said. “This situation highlights the larger issue of rioting on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior.”

The group fled the scene when officers arrived, police said.

“As a citizen and a father, I find it unacceptable that maritime groups engage in this type of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response of the authorities seems inadequate,” Ziering said. “I have always been an advocate for standing up against intimidation and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety.”
