After three Game 7s on Saturday, the thrilling 2022 Stanley Cup playoffs continue Sunday with another pair of win-or-home matches. With those final two games finalizing the second round, hockey fans should definitely watch TV.
The Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers start at 7pm on Sunday at Madison Square Garden and TBS. Pittsburgh won three of four games at the start of New York and scored seven goals in each of the last two matches. The star of the penguins is Sidney Crosby Traumatized in the 5th game And after missing out on Game6, Goldman returned to the ice for Game7, along with Tristian Zari, who missed last month due to injury. With Pittsburgh losing their first first round or qualifying round in the last three seasons, a win for both teams would be huge as they have not won the New York playoff series since 2017.
To finish the first round, the Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames will air at 9:30 pm on ESPN2 and fuboTV at the Scodiabank Satellite (Try it for free) The series has been Collie’s spectacle so far, as Dallas’ Jack Ottinger ranks 2nd in savings percentage, while Calgary’s Jacob Markstrom ranks second in goals against average. A Stars win for the first time since the Stanley Cup final in 2020 will send them into the second round, and after 2015 Calgary will be looking for its first playoff series victory.
