Epox 5LDA+GLI Motherboard Review
The motherboard is central to any computer system, and it needs to be well researched for any enthusiasts planning to build an awesome system. Today we have an Epox 5LDA+GLI motherboard in the LGA 775 test bed. The board is packed with all kinds of features that will make system builders quite happy.

Epox was established in February 1995 and has quickly grown. They have researched and developed motherboards jam packed with features which quickly become standard in most computer systems. They also maintain a reputation for some of the highest product quality and performance possible.
Today we have an Epox 5LDA+GLI motherboard in the LGA 775 test bed. As I expected, this board has a lot of promising features with its Intel 945P chipset and GLI support for multiple graphics cards. It promises Gigabit LAN for massive data transfers, plenty of USB and SATA headers, 8 Channel High Definition Audio, and a Thermo Stick which is a flexible thermometer to measure temperatures of any component in the system.

EPoX has packaged their boards in a convent carrying box, great for storing all the extra goodies that they include, and stylish enough to carry out to a LAN-party.
Epox certainly has listened to what enthusiasts needed in a good motherboard, so they provided onboard power and reset buttons for quick diagnostic or benchmarking. For power users, they provide a CP80P post port debug LED for diagnosing lockups. They also placed LEDs in critical areas (near graphics cards, memory, and the processor), so if any of these components fail, the light simply goes out to quickly show a failed component. Let’s get a closer look so we can see how this board performs in the real world.
