Dell Ultra Sharp 2407WFP - Features and Specifications
(Page 3 of 4 )
The 2407WFP gives the user basically all of the features that people look for in a wide-screen flat panel. Of course, probably the greatest feature is the 24 inch wide viewing surface, which is coated with an anti-glare material to make viewing the screen easy, even in bright conditions. The abundance of inputs is another great feature of this monitor which gives the user many options for what to hook up to it, including gaming systems and a DVD player.
A great feature that helps the user achieve greater image quality in specific situations is the preset image modes which include desktop, multimedia, and gaming. It is also possible to run multiple applications with this monitor, thanks to its great size. The user can run different applications side-by-side on the same screen, which can make work on the computer much more efficient. This monitor also comes equipped with picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture, which both have dedicated buttons located on the monitor.
The Ultra Sharp 2407WFP comes equipped with the following items straight from the box:
Dell 2407WFP 24" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
All cables (power cord, 15 pin VGA cable, DVI-D cable)
Monitor stand (tilt/swivel and vertical extension)
Manual
This will give you everything you need to plug in the monitor and begin use. You may want to purchase an S-Video cable separately in order to increase the picture quality.
The Dell Ultra Sharp 2407WFP comes with an industry standard 3 year warranty on all parts and labor; this includes the backlight. The warranty can be increased to 5 years for an additional $49 through Dell. I strongly recommend doing this, because it ensures 5 years of worry-free performance for only an additional $49. Dell also has an industry leading support staff and web site, which can help with any installation questions or quality issues. When it comes to support and service, Dell is a cut above the rest in my opinion. That is always a plus when buying any kind of product from them.
