    Well if you made it through the specifications you should be getting an idea of just how much effort ASUS has put into making a laptop that may be a worthy replacement for your desktop.

    Beyond the processor choice and the ATI RADEON 9600 Pro there were several other features that really stood out.  With the L5GA you have 4 USB ports, 1 FireWire port, and a multi card reader that you use with Memory Sticks (including Pro models), SecureDigital, and optionally MultiMedia memory cards.  Additionally, there are connectors for TV-Out, Monitor Out, parallel port, COM port and optical output from the sound card.  Combining all this with GigaBit LAN and a 56k modem makes for a plethora of connectivity options, actually a couple more options than I have on my desktop.
