iCue CS-6058ROGX Case Bundle Review - Conclusion

Well I have to say that this case looked way better than I thought it was going to and, according to my fiancé, “it looks better than that big ol' noisy thing we have." I don't know if I agree with her, but it is pretty smooth looking for a budget case. Temps hovered around 30 degrees Celsius for the mobo temp and 37 Celsius for the CPU (idle), so its lack of ventilation affected it a little but not too much. Then again, I don't have as many components in this case as most of us normally would, so expect a tad higher temperatures if using this case for yourself. The noise level was definitely low but then again there is only one case fan, the stock P4 cooler, the active NB cooler, and the PSU, so that is to be expected. The HDD holder is questionable but it works so no big deal, however there is only one designated HDD spot so that will upset some of us who have a RAID setup going(or you could just use the other FDD slot).

The biggest complaint I have is in regards to the lack of an appropriate clip or screw mount for the front 80mm fan port. I mean come on, if your only going to put a 60mm in the back and no other fan ports, then the least you can do is put a real port for the front. But all in all, I'd say this case is good for what I bought it for: to compensate for a low budget while still delivering a good looking case (and accessories).

    Pros:

    • Smooth overall look
    • Quality handle on top
    • Plenty of USB support
    • Awesome value w/ all the accessories
    • Lack of fan ports leaves you w/ a quiet case

    Cons:

    • Useless Mobo Tray
    • Useless Vent-looking structure on top
    • Poor to non-functional 80mm port
    • Lack of fan ports leaves you w/ poor ventilation
